Wakanda OutReach Center (W.O.R.C.) Windsor is a federally incorporated non-profit serving children, youth, adults, and families across Windsor & Essex County, committed to community, recovery, and empowerment.
W.O.R.C. exists for the advancement of children, youth, adults, and families within Windsor and Essex County. We hold a strong belief that every person has an innate ability to learn, grow, and develop, and we build the programs, partnerships, and spaces that help them do it.
In April 2026, we amended our charter to make E.C.H.O.E.S., Emergency Care, Housing, Outreach, Empowerment, and Support, our flagship program division, focused on homelessness, mental health, and substance-use recovery in our region.

Establish and maintain a recreational facility for children, youth, and adults in the City of Windsor.
Operate a food bank for persons of low income and run a micro-lending program for start-up businesses.
Scholarships for high-school graduates entering first-year university; workshops on conflict resolution, finance, marketing, and bookkeeping.
Public health programs raising awareness of mental health, and slowing the progression of obesity and heart disease.
Employment-skills programs, conferences, and workshops for unemployed youth.
Free cultural performances, art showcases, and high-quality theatrical performances open to the public.
